Porcelain Veneers might be a suitable option for you if you have:

  • Spaces between your  teeth

  • Broken or chipped  teeth

  • Unsightly, stained or defective fillings which can’t be repaired with a standard white filling

  • Permanently stained or discoloured teeth which colour can’t be improved by whitening

  • Or mildly crooked/ crowded teeth and you are not prepared to have orthodontic treatment to align them.

Porcelain veneers are not permanent and although are a lot stronger that the white fillings, just like your own tooth they can occasionally break or de-bond. If the chips are small they can be repaired or the whole veneer can be replaced if necessary.

If you look after them they can last at least 10 years. In our experience most of the one we have done last a lot longer than that. Once the veneers are bonded (glued with very strong cement to the underlying tooth) you should treat them just like your own teeth.

To ensure your new veneers last and always look as good as new we recommend regular oral hygiene at home including twice daily brushing and flossing and attending dentist and hygienist for your routine checks to ensure your veneers are inspected regularly and any problems are spotted early.

Crowns & Veneers

Dental Crowns

Where teeth have large broken down fillings and simply there is not enough of your natural tooth left to support another filling a crown (commonly known as cap) can protect and preserve the remaining natural tooth.

Dental crowns are also recommended on your tooth following root canal therapy to prevent the tooth from breaking and restore it back to its optimal function.

Crowns can be made from a variety of different materials such as porcelain, zirconia, metal or gold.  They are made in a laboratory and are designed to offer the optimal mechanical, functional and aesthetic long term option in all the above scenarios.

The type of crown we recommend will depend largely on the condition of the tooth involved, the mechanical and cosmetic needs and your individual preference.

We use experienced dental laboratories in UK  which follow strict guidelines and protocols and  offer superb quality of the materials and cosmetic finish on your crowns.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are very thin, semi-translucent porcelain laminates bonded permanently to front of your teeth. After teeth whitening, porcelain veneers are one of the most favourite cosmetic option of improving smile chosen by many celebrities like Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell amongst many others.

No wonder more celebrities are choosing them, as veneers offer life like results and often combined with teeth whitening will help you achieve that perfect white smile in as little as two visits.
