Dr. Santiago Oliver was born in  Granada (Spain) where he graduated as a Doctor (GP) at the Granada Medical School, winning an award from the Royal Academy of Medicine.

Attracted by the artistic aspects of dentistry, he moved to Madrid to pursue his degree in Dentistry. Shortly after completion, he joined the Faculty of Dentistry of Granada as a Teacher Assistant; simultaneously Santiago became a practice owner, setting up his own dental private practice. He then moved to Jersey in 2010 and shortly after to North Wales where he worked in Bangor, Caernarfon and Menai Bridge for 7 years in fully private settings. He finally move to Guernsey in 2017, when he joined the Halfway Dental Practice.

The passion for details made him focus on the most difficult dental procedures such as endodontics, cosmetic restorations and surgery.

Always attracted by the advances in technology, he has kept up to date in its applications in the dentistry realm. Being proficient in the use of 3D digital tools, including combining CBCT images with intraoral scans, allows Dr Oliver to plan his complex cases in a more precise and safer manner.

In his spare time, Santiago likes cooking, reading and enjoying the outdoors life in Guernsey, but what he really likes the most are the Skype sessions with his 5 years old grandson Daniel, who lives in Spain.
